Starter/Plug Plants Starter plants (often known as plug plants) are cost effective way of buying plants. All of our plants are grwon in a 4.5cm by 5cm plug. This is bigger than most nurseries but we prefer to have a more established plant. The plants are well rooted and ready to be planted up either into a pot or (if the time of year is right) straight into the garden. |
6cm Potted Plants This is the perfect size for chilli and pepper plants in the early part of the year. In the early months of their life chillies can be a bit delicate. That is why we prefer to send them to you in a small pot. It reduces stress on the plant and helps keep the roots both protected and a little warmer. |
9cm Potted Plants 9cm pots are the one of the most cost effective ways of buying plants. All of our 9cm plants have been growing for a long enough period of time to make sure you get a well rooted established plant. This size is perfect for planting out (when the weather permist) and means you get a established garden quicker. |
1 litre Jumbo Potted Plants These are big pots. Around 13cm in diameter and around the same depth. This takes a lot of the growing time away from you giving you are far bigger plant. This pot size is often ready from mid to late April onwards. |
